Chronicle Books for I See Me - A Review

Disclosure: We were sent complimentary personalized products for the purpose of this review.
All thoughts and opinions are my own!

I See Me is known for their amazing personalized books and products. If you have been reading our blog for awhile now, you know that we are HUGE fans of I See Me and all they have to offer! They honestly have everything from personalized coloring books  and puzzles to growth charts and lunchboxes, and everything in between. Up until now though, we weren't aware that they are carrying new books by some of our favorite authors, courtesy of Chronicle Books!! The best part? You can take a classic that your child loves, and personalize it with their name and pictures, enhancing their reading experience ten fold!

Peek-a Who? by Nina Laden is a classic beloved children's board book. In fact, we have an incredibly beat up copy of this that we've had since K was born! With these new book from I See Me, you have the ability to take you copy of Peek-a Who? to the next level!

My favorite part of every personalized book from I See Me, is the dedication page! I love seeing my little ones picture captured inside of a book. This particular book is a board book, so his picture was actually part of the board book cover!

The quality of I See Me's books are amazing!! The colors are always vibrant, and the books are beautifully bound. The quality of this version of Peek-a Who? compared to the one we previously owned isn't even comparable. Plus, this one is bigger and much more substantial which is perfect for the use and abuse that it will receive in little hands! Each page has your child's name mixed in with the illustration. As you can see in the picture above, the cow resides on "Bentley's Farm"! I love little details like that! It is one of the things that makes personalized books from I See Me so special!

On the very last page is the sweetest surprise!! The picture from the dedication page is also on the back for the "Peek a YOU!" page. The original version has a mirror, but in my opinion, this is SO much more fun! Bentley loves pointing to himself. It's perfect for developing self recognition skills.

We LOVE Amy Krouse Rosenthal, so when I got the opportunity to review the personalized I See Me version of the book, I was thrilled! My first impression of this book is that Tom Lichtenheld's illustrations are perfect. They are whimsical, adorable, and invoke a sense of wonder with the turn of every page! The book itself is precious. It is all about a parent's wishes for their child. As a mother, this book touched and delighted me! While the text spoke more to me at this point in time than almost 3 year old Kingston, he loved the pictures and finding and spelling his name out on every page. Names are written in sand, snow, the sky, sidewalk chalk, and many other presentations throughout the story. They even go so far as to put your child's first letter initial on a hat (see picture below!). I am always so impressed with the sheer amount of detail that goes into each personalized product from I See Me!
